Campus-wide Breaking Bread dinner Feb. 8

The third community-wide “Breaking Bread” dinner of the 2016-17 academic year will be held Feb. 8, 6-8 p.m. at G10 Biotechnology Building to discuss “Freedom of Speech and Civility on Campus.” Using recent national and global events as a backdrop for this conversation, an open dialogue between Cornell community members will be held.

The Campus-Wide Breaking Bread Dinner is an initiative to bring together senior administrators, students, faculty, staff and other invited guests for conversations about timely and meaningful topics, facilitated by students involved with the Intergroup Dialogue Project.

Funded by the Office of the Provost, the event is hosted by the Center for Intercultural Dialogue (6-2-6), the Office of Academic Diversity Initiatives (OADI), The Graduate School Office of Inclusion and Student Engagement (OISE), the Department of Inclusion and Workforce Diversity and the Office of Faculty Development and Diversity, which are directed by the University Diversity Officers.
