Eating for Your Best Self
Join this 12-week nutrition/weight loss intensive group, designed for people with a body mass index of 30 or higher. Sessions will be held Feb. 8-April 26, noon-1 p.m., at 221 Weill Hall.
This in-person, small group experience will help participants become more in tune with their personal thoughts and behavior surrounding food. Participate in mindfulness exercises, group discussions, strategy building and in-depth nutrition education. Facilitated by Beth McKinney, RD. Available to a maximum of 12 individuals who are ready to spend quality time thinking about themselves and what they are wanting. Must have a BMI (Body Mass index) of 30 or higher. In addition to the 12 weeks, two one-on-one sessions will be held. Participants must meet individually before committing to the class. Welcoming new and seasoned knitters! Enjoy the calming effects of knitting during these lunchtime gatherings noon-1 p.m., 401 Physical Sciences Building.
