Plan for Your Someday
This seminar is targeted to people between the ages of 21 and 40. Presented by Voya, it will be held May 3, noon-1 p.m., 102 Mann Library. While people under 40 can feel they are too young, too busy or need every bit of their money to focus on saving for retirement, the truth is, even small steps now can help make a huge difference for them later. This seminar will help individuals picture their dreams for their "someday," with tips on creating a solid plan now to help achieve them.  Light lunch will be provided.

Weight loss surgery
Employee Aaron Debolt, who had gastric sleeve surgery and lost more than 112 pounds, will be joined by Chris Peck, physician assistant with Surgical Associates April 24, noon-1 p.m., at B26 Humphreys, to share their knowledge and experience about weight loss surgery. This session will also be recorded. While weight loss surgery is not for everyone, this session will give attendees an opportunity to learn who qualifies for the surgery as well as about the process itself. Mindfulness meditation
Mindfulness meditation is a form of meditation or induced relaxation that focuses awareness on breathing and encourages positive attitudes to achieve a healthy, balanced mental state. Learn the benefits of mindfulness meditation and personally experience different styles of mindfulness meditation and how to incorporate these tools into your daily life, for better health and well-being at a lecture to be held April 28, noon-1 p.m., at the Robert Purcell Community Center, Room 220.

Save the Date: Bike to Work/School Day 
Cornell Transportation and Cornell Recreational Services are teaming up to celebrate National Bike to Work/School Day with the Cornell community, May 19. Staffed tables at multiple locations across central campus will offer lots of goodies from 7-10 a.m. for people who cycle in to work on the morning of May 19.
