EH&S offers AED/CPR class

Want to know how to stay safe on the job? What to do, should a medical emergency arise? The Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) offers guidelines and training to meet nearly every situation that may occur in a workplace setting.

Learn Something New: 9-09-11

Long-time folk guitarist and host of WVBR’s Sunday evening Bound for Glory concerts, Phil Shapiro begins a new season of group folk guitar lessons, Sept. 12, in the International Lounge of Willard Straight Hall.

Learn to ride

Faculty, staff, students and the public can register for horse-riding lessons at the Oxley Equestrian Center. Classes will begin Sept. 6; 12 one-hour classes cost $345 for those with a Cornell ID; $365 for non-Cornell participants.

Learn to extinguish fires

Cornell’s Environmental Health & Safety department will offer a new program for staff, faculty and students on the selection and use of portable fire extinguishers, to be held the second Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m., in Room 243 of the East Hill Office Building, beginning June 8.
