EH&S offers AED/CPR class

Want to know how to stay safe on the job? What to do, should a medical emergency arise? The Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) offers guidelines and training to meet nearly every situation that may occur in a workplace setting.

EH&S provides training opportunities to the campus community; to find the courses offered and availability go to: http://www.ehs.cornell.edu.

A popular in-person class, the American Heart Association Heartsaver Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) class is currently being offered at no charge by EH&S Oct. 12; Oct. 26; Nov. 16; Nov. 30, 8 a.m.-noon at the 140 East Hill Office Building: or 8 a.m.-noon at the EH&S Conference Room, 201 Palm Road: Oct. 22, Nov. 12, Dec. 7, Dec. 10. Upon completion of the course, participants receive certification valid for two years.
